The monument is situated in military historical memorial cemetery in center of Bender town (unrecognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic).

The sign on the monument: "Полеглим у Бендерах вірним синам України - козакам Війська Запорозького, славним лицарям гетьманів Івана Мазепи та Пилипа Орлика" (To cossacks of Zaporizhia army who fallen in Bendery, glorious knights of Ivan Mazepa and Pylyp Orlyk hetmans).

Besides of that, there are several objects more or less connected to Ukraine

Particularly, there are capsules with soil from Kharkov, Odessa and Kherson cities, where 4th Kharkov uhlan regiment, 10th Odessa uhlan regiment, 48th Odessa infantry regiment and 130th Kherson infantry regiment were formed.
