Monument to Taras Shevchenko was created in Taras Shevchenko street. It is situated on the background of mozaic panno on the wall of school. School #110 is also named after Taras Shevchenko. 

Monument's author is Leonid Ryabtsev - famous sculptor from Tashkent, National Uzbekistan prize winner.

Monument was solemnly opened in December, 2002.
