Alexander Duchnovič died on March, 30, 1865 in Prešov.

He was burried in the crypt of Saint Nicholas Concathedral.

The church of Archangel Michael is from 1752. Next to it a separate wooden belfry was built.

The iconostasis and altar come from second half of the 18th century.

Sviatoslav Semeniuk writes in his book "Український путівник по Словаччині", that there is Iosyf Shumliansky's image in the iconostasis. This data should be checked.

Dezider Milly (07.08.1906, Kyiv - 01.09.1971, Bratislava) was prominent Slovak painter of Ukrainian origin.

Directions to the tomb: "Slávičie údolie" cemetery, section "Park", number 60 (previous grave number: VII PARK-19).

The gallery was named after prominent artist of Ukrainian origin Dezider Milly (1906-1971). He is considered as one of founders of modern art in Slovakia. Some time he leaded Bratislava arts academy. His works take central place in the exhibition.

Rusínsky zbojník Fedor „Holovatyj“ Hlavatý z Ruskej Volovej

Fedor Hlavatý was a leader of anti-feodal band which acted in 1492 - 1495 in eastern Slovakia.

He was born in Ruská Volová village.

There is a memorial tablet in his honour in the village.

The sign on the tablet in Slovac and Ukrainian languages:

Iryna Nevytska was Ukrainian and Slovak writer.

She was born on 10.12.1886 in Zbudská Belá village in Ukrainian family.

Lived in different places, but mostly in Prešov.

Some time lived in Uzhgorod as active public person of Carpatho-Ukraine.

Died in Prešov on 21.11.1965 (or 1966), burried in town cemetery.

The bronze statue on a pedestal.

The inscription on the monument: "АЛЕКСАНДРЪ В. ДУХНОВИЧЪ будитель карпаторусскаго народа" (Alexander Duchnovič, the awakaner of Karpathian-Rusyn people).

Till 1970's the monument was placed in another location.
